Michael became a member of the University College in April 2013. Originally from Greensboro, N.C., he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish. After working as a paralegal in Raleigh for several years, Michael entered graduate school at the University of South Carolina, earning his Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs in 2007. Before joining UNCC’s University Advising Center, Michael was an admissions counselor at Winthrop University for over five years. Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two children during his free time. He is an avid sports fan with a particular passion for college basketball. Michael looks forward to assisting students in determining which major to pursue at Charlotte.
