Math Placement Exam

UNC Charlotte uses math placement levels to determine which math classes students are eligible to register for. Math levels can be assigned based on SAT or ACT score, AP credit, or credit from other institutions.

If a student has not been assigned a math placement level or wishes to improve their math placement level, they may take UNC Charlotte’s math placement test.
